Create a poster to motivate Class 2 primary school students and help them practice the growth mindset, during the challenging shift to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Solution
Reword the 'growth mindset' in more tangible, fun language relevant for the age group (8-10 years).

Collaborated with the Class 2 Teacher to research and clarify key messages

Edited and rewrote common 'growth mindset' principles as engaging personal and classroom mantras/quotes

Helped reframe growth mindset in a form and language that makes it easy to teach to the target age group

User-tested poster with the class, to come up with the first version, including a class survey
Impact

Parents downloaded the pdf from online platform to put in their children's rooms.

Students started to use phrases from the poster to encourage each other during lessons.

Principal requested printed posters to put in classrooms when school reopened.
